Major Components of BTF6-8 Egg Tray Machine
BTF6-8 egg tray production line is composed of a pulping system, molding system, and drying system, including a hydraulic pulper, finished pulp pool, molding machine, air compressor, metal drying line, and many other components. Among these, the molding machine and metal drying line play an extremely important role.
The main responsibility of the molding machine is to precisely shape and size the paper pulp material provided by the pulping system into 6*8 egg tray configurations.
The metal drying line consists of multiple conveyor layers. It provides the necessary heat for drying through hot air. A large quantity of egg trays can be dried simultaneously on different layers, thus increasing production efficiency.
Working Process of BTF6-8 Egg Tray Machine
Here is the working process of the BTF6-8 egg tray machine for your reference. You can watch the YouTube video below to get a clearer understanding of how the machine works.
Step 1: Pulping
First of all, put waste paper and water into the hydraulic pulper at a ratio of 1:3. After 20 minutes, the paper becomes paper pulp, flowing into the pulp pool. Then paper pulp enters the homogenization pulp pool, where it is stirred to the desired stock concentration. Finally, the paper pulp enters the finished pulp pool.
Step 2: Molding
Under the action of the vacuum system, paper pulp enters the molding machine. Excess water is separated through the water vapor separation tank. Then the pulp fibers begin to bond together to form the shape of egg tray inside the mold.
Step 3: Drying
After pulping molding, egg trays usually contain high moisture. At this point, the automatic metal drying line drying will dry the wet egg trays. Finally, the egg tray product ready for sale is formed.
Note: The model in the video is BTF5-8. But you can still get a general sense of how the machine operates from the video. The only change inside is the molding mold. You are able to choose the molds as you like.

Advantages of Automatic BTF6-8 Egg Tray Machine – Metal Drying Line
The BTF6-8 egg tray manufacturing machine is suitable for processing large quantities of paper-based materials. Therefore, it is an advisable choice to equip it with automatic metal lines. This can significantly enhance the drying efficiency. Now, let’s delve into the advantages of metal drying lines in more detail.
This drying line dries wet egg trays quickly and efficiently. Compared to traditional drying methods like natural air drying, it reduces drying time. This increased speed allows for higher production output within the same timeframe.
Automatic metal drying lines are often designed to be energy-efficient. They optimize the use of heat and airflow to remove moisture from the products, This minimizes energy consumption and operational costs.
These drying lines provide consistent and uniform drying conditions for all products. This consistency reduces the likelihood of substandard egg trays. This means that more egg cartons can be sold, rather than discarded.
Unlike natural air drying, automatic metal drying lines are not affected by weather conditions. This eliminates production delays due to rain, humidity, or extreme temperatures, ensuring consistent output year-round.
The design of metal drying lines is usually more compact. It takes up less space. This is an important advantage for manufacturers with limited sites.
Reduced Labor Costs
With the automated drying system, the metal drying line requires minimal manual intervention. This drying way will reduce labor costs for the entire project.
Shorter Lead Times
The faster drying time enabled by this drying way contributes to shorter lead times for product delivery. It can become a competitive advantage.
By reducing drying time and energy consumption, this way promotes eco-friendly production. This aligns with the growing emphasis on eco-friendly manufacturing practices.
