Nowadays, pyrolysis plant has become a popular technical solution in solid waste disposal (including biomass, plastic, oil sludge, and tire rubber). The pyrolysis machine for sale recycles waste materials into valuable pyrolysis oil or biochar, embodying a sustainable approach to waste reduction and resource recovery. Beston Group leads in the solid waste treatment industry, offering advanced pyrolysis solutions, technology, and equipment manufacturing. Welcome to know more!
Pyrolysis technology decomposes solid waste into valuable resources under high-temperature, oxygen-free conditions, achieving waste reduction and resource utilization. As a leading pyrolysis equipment manufacturer, Beston Group offers 4 pyrolysis solutions for different types of solid waste. This will help clients achieve environmental goals.
Millions of tons of biomass waste (wood, sawdust, coconut shells, coffee husks, rice husks, straw. etc.) are improperly accumulated, landfilled, or burned each year. Beston biomass pyrolysis plant enables biomass-into-biochar conversion, reducing environmental impact and promoting circular economy practices.
Over 400 million tonnes of plastic waste are produced annually and only 9% are recycled. Industry-leading catalytic plastic pyrolysis technology recovers pyrolysis oil from waste plastics (PE, PP, PS, and other plastics without chlorine and oxygen). It greatly improves the quality and yield of oil compared to general pyrolysis.
Each year, approximately 100 million tons of oil sludge are generated globally, containing hazardous components like heavy metals and benzene. Oil sludge thermal desorption unit dispose of oil-based cuttings, tank bottom oil sludge, oil-contaminated soil, etc. in a safe, harmless, and eco-friendly way.
Every year, 1 billion tires reach the end of their useful life, with only 40% being recycled. Pyrolysis machine recovers valuable pyrolysis oil, carbon black, and steel wire from non-biodegradable waste tires.

Ignite the combustor to provide heat to the main reactor. The reactor always maintains a sealed, low-oxygen environment. It rotates under the action of the driving system, ensuring that the material inside is heated evenly.
No matter what materials pyrolysis machinery recycles, it produces much non-liquefied gas (syngas), which is purified and then sent to the burner to fuel the reactor for heating.
High-temperature exhaust gas enters the flue condenser first. Then the cooled flue gas undergoes multiple dedusting treatments. Finally, the gas safely discharges through the chimney. This can meet EU emission standards.
When the solid products (biochar, carbon black, or others) reach the set level in the reactor, the discharging system activates. After water-cooling heat exchange process, solid products are discharged by the screw discharger. Once the solid products fall below the set level, discharging stops until the sensors issue a restart signal.
| Raw Material | End Products and Yields (%) | |||

| End Product 1 | End Product 2 | End Product 3 | End Product 4 | |
| Biomass | Biochar: 30% | / | / | Syngas: 56% |
| Plastic | Pyrolysis Oil: 40%-95% | Solid Residues | / | Syngas: Varies |
| Oil Sludge | Pyrolysis Oil: Varies | Sand | Water | Syngas: Varies |
| Tire | Pyrolysis Oil: 35-45% | Carbon Black: 30-35% | Steel Wire: 8-15% | Syngas: 8-15% |
Regardless of the raw material, pyrolysis plants generate a substantial amount of syngas. This gas is typically utilized to heat the reactor within the pyrolysis unit. External fuel is only needed during the startup phase, as the syngas produced are sufficient to sustain the system’s ongoing operation.
Note: To ensure continuous operation, wood vinegar and tar are generally not collected in biomass pyrolysis.
