What is Mobile Biochar Machine?

Mobile biochar machine refers to a portable biochar making machine mounted on skids. The machine has integrated the functional components of charcoal making machine on an integral base, which is an integrated mini biochar machine that can be installed and moved as a whole.

How Does Mobile Biochar Machine Work?

The whole biochar production process is divided into 3 stages. You can read about the details in the following paragraphs or click the image to have a look at the operation flow chart.

Mobile biochar production process

1. Drying stage

In the drying stage (inner barrel), the temperature is around 150℃. The external and internal moisture of the raw materials are evaporated by the heat supplied from the outside, and the shape of the raw materials does not change at the same time.

2. Endothermic pyrolysis stage

In the endothermic pyrolysis stage at 220-270℃, the raw materials begin to decompose and release gaseous products (such as CQ, CO2, H2S, etc.). The chemical composition of the raw materials begin to change, and the temperature at which different materials begin to pyrolyze is different. Materials with a low degree of deterioration also start at a lower temperature for pyrolysis.

3. Carbonization stage

The temperature in the carbonization stage us 270-440℃, and the reaction is mainly polycondensation and thermal decomposition in the portable biochar kiln. A large amount of volatiles are precipitated from the raw materials, and almost all products such as methanol, and ethylene precipitated in the carbonization process are produced in this stage.

Operation The mobile biochar equipment has good energy saving and emission reduction effect, high degree of automation and low operating cost. The full load power of the whole machine is 37kw, the actual operation is about 60% of the full load, and the operating power is low; the heating heat exchanger is installed, and the thermal efficiency is increased by 5% to 10%.
Manipulate The modular design, user-friendly configuration, continuous working method, high degree of automation, temperature and pressure sensor feedback in each key part lead to simple, safe and reliable operation.
Maintenance The seal is automatically tensioned and adjusted, and the service life is long; the key parts are provided with inspection holes, which are convenient for maintenance; the pipe valve is connected by segmented flanges, and the length of each segment is not more than 1m, which is easy to disassemble and assemble; the flange seal adopts metal graphite gasket, which can be repeated repeatedly. Disassembled and reused many times for easy maintenance.
Service Life Adjust the fire according to the temperature control feedback; set the heating horizontal plate to increase the thermal strength and reduce the thermal deformation; thus, the service life can reach 5-8 years.
After-sales Service The entire biochar production equipment is produced in strict accordance with the drawings and is inspected and recorded according to the IPD process card. The standards and drawings records used for each order are backed up and saved.
