Exomad Green Phase II Project: Installation Underway to Expand CDR Capacity

Exomad Green’s Phase II biochar project is making steady progress in Bolivia! The installation of 8 sets of BST-50 biochar production equipment supplied by Beston Group is now underway. Building on the successful operation of Phase I, the project will further expand Exomad Green’s biochar production capacity and biochar CDR creditS delivery capability. Beston Group’s experienced engineering team is providing on-site technical support throughout the installation. Below are photos and details from the project:

Project Background: From Successful Delivery to Capacity Expansion

Exomad Green is a leading carbon removal (CDR) company in Bolivia. It supplies high-quality Puro.earth-certified carbon removal credits to major technology companies, including Microsoft. To date, its cumulative CORC deliveries have exceeded 300,000. In 2025, Beston Group delivered 7 sets of BST-50 biochar production equipment for Exomad Green’s Phase I project. Since then, the equipment has continued to operate steadily in Bolivia.

Based on the successful delivery and stable operation of Phase I, as well as its growing capacity requirements, Exomad Green placed an additional order for 8 sets of BST-50 units in January 2026 for Phase II. Then, in April 2026, Exomad Green and Beston Group signed an exclusive agency agreement, further strengthening their strategic cooperation and supporting the next stage of capacity expansion.

Equipment Manufacturing and Shipment:

After Exomad Green confirmed the Phase II order, Beston Group quickly started production. Drawing on our established manufacturing system and Phase I experience, our team produced and prepared equipment in batches for shipment. By early June 2026, all equipment was ready for delivery, keeping the project on schedule.

Batch Shipment Strategy

We shipped the equipment in batches, with the first batch departing in May 2026. Meanwhile, our team continued manufacturing later batches as earlier equipment arrived on site. This approach shortened the overall deployment cycle and gave Exomad Green more time to prepare the site for installation.

Transparent Manufacturing Process

The Exomad Green team visited our factory several times to inspect manufacturing progress. Our technical team explained key components and processes, while we shared batch-by-batch updates. This allowed the customer to track progress and confirm pyrolysis equipment quality before shipment.

On-Site Installation: Line-by-Line Progress

Phase II installation officially started on July 21, 2026. Since the Exomad Green team had already gained experience with the Phase I equipment, they were familiar with the installation requirements. At the same time, Beston Group’s engineers who supported Phase I continued to provide on-site support for Phase II. With this experience in place, the project team quickly arranged local workers, cranes, forklifts, and other equipment required for installation.

As of September 16, 2026, the 58th day of installation, the project was progressing according to schedule:

  • Line 1: 100% complete. The team has completed heating tests and production trials, and is now conducting a continuous 24-hour operation test for wood chips.
  • Line 2: 45% complete. The team is installing the water-cooled discharge screw, combustible gas system, pipelines, and related components.
  • Line 3: 15% complete. The team is welding the spray tower frame and assembling the feedstock storage hopper.

Once all eight lines are complete, the project team will deploy the shared utility systems as a unified system. This arrangement will avoid repeated demolition work and multiple heavy-duty crane operations, while improving the efficiency of the overall installation process.

Looking Ahead

Once all eight BST-50 biochar production equipment enters operation, Exomad Green will further expand its biochar production capacity and increase its ability to deliver carbon removal credits. Going forward, Beston Group will continue to support the project through a combination of technology and operational support. By working closely with Exomad Green, we aim to expand biochar-based CDR capacity and contribute to the global net-zero transition.
