Egg Tray Making Machine Cases in the International Market
As a manufacturer of high-quality egg tray maker, Beston delivers comprehensive, global pulp moulding solutions spanning export and on-site installation. Over the past decades, our footprints have extended to over 50 countries across 5 continents, earning the trust of a vast and diverse global clientele.
Working Flow and Main Components of Beston Egg Tray Machine
A complete egg tray production line contains pulp making system, forming system, drying system, and packing system.
Pulping Making System
Put the raw materials (various waste papers) into the pulping machine, and after about 40 minutes of high-concentration stirring, the pulp will be automatically transported to the pulp supply tank for storage and stirring. Then the pulp is transported by the supply pump to the mixing tank and stirred to the required concentration of pulp. Then put into the supply tank and transported to the forming machine through the supply pump.
Forming System
The forming machine of egg tray machine absorbs the pulp (delivered by the supply pump to the hopper of the forming machine) to the mould of the forming machine. The vacuum system sucks the pulp onto the mould of the forming machine and absorbs the excess water into the water vapor separation tank. The water pump pumps the water into the pool for storage. The mold of the egg tray maker absorbs the pulp to form, and then the manipulator of the molding machine takes out the finished product and sends it to the drying conveyor belt.
Drying System
Semi-finished egg trays are transported to the egg tray dryer for dehydration. Hot air circulation can quickly remove moisture from the egg tray while ensuring the quality of the egg tray. Metal drying line has single layer and multiple layers, so the customer can choose according to the actual production scale.
Packing System (Optional)
After drying, finished egg trays are packed by a collector and a baler machine. This system can greatly compress the space of the egg tray, making it more convenient for storage and transportation.
Important Accessories
Screw air compressor: Blows the egg tray from the forming mold to the transfer mold, and from the transfer mold to the conveyor belt/tray.
Vacuum pump: Sucks the slurry under the forming machine onto the forming mold, and at the same time sucks out the water from the egg tray on the forming mold, and recycles the pumped water to the sewage tank to form water recycling.
Homogenizer (pulp beater): The homogenizer further refines pulp, ensuring uniform consistency for efficient forming in the egg tray maker machine.
Air storage tank: Work with the air compressor to enhance the blowing strength of the air compressor.
Negative pressure tank: Plays the role of water vapor separation.
An Inside Look: The High-Efficiency Design of Metal Drying System
Beston metal egg tray dryer is a highly automated thermal system engineered to maximize production speed while driving down operational costs. Through precise temperature control and smart air distribution, it ensures every egg tray achieves 100% uniform dryness and rigid quality. Discover the core technology behind its high efficiency:
Multi-layer Vertical Layout (1-6 Layers)
Designed with a space-optimized modular structure, the multi-layer metal dryer expands production capacity vertically rather than extending horizontally. This structural engineering enables:
Minimal land footprint: High-capacity production within a highly compact factory layout.
Flexible scaling: Easy vertical expansion from 1 to 6 layers as the company grows.
Closed-Loop Hot Air Circulation
Equipped with draft fans and precision air ducts, this thermal system creates a closed-loop dynamic zone that continuously recirculates heated air. This thermal efficiency enables:
Reduced fuel expenses: Significant cuts in gas or diesel consumption by reusing thermal air.
Flawless product quality: 100% uniform dryness without any tray warping or cracking.
Integrated PLC Automation Control
Featuring a centralized intelligent control center, this smart system perfectly synchronizes the operational speed of the drying conveyor line with the pulp forming machine. This automation enables:
Climate-independent output: Full protection of the schedule from local humidity and heavy rain.

Environmental Benefits of Paper Egg Tray Making Machine
Egg tray plant play a key role in promoting sustainable manufacturing. Here are four major environmental benefits:
Waste Paper Recycling
These machines rely on waste paper, such as old newspapers, cartons, and office paper, as the main raw material. By converting discarded paper into useful packaging, they reduce the volume of waste sent to landfills. This process supports circular economy goals and helps conserve natural resources like wood and water.
Biodegradable Output
The trays produced by the egg tray machine are made entirely from natural fibers. They are fully biodegradable and decompose within weeks under natural conditions. This makes them an environmentally responsible alternative to plastic, which takes hundreds of years to break down and contributes to long-term pollution.
Low Energy Consumption
Modern paper egg tray making machine is engineered with energy efficiency in mind. From pulping to drying, each stage is optimized to use minimal electricity or fuel. Energy-saving motors and smart control systems help reduce operational costs while minimizing the plant’s overall carbon footprint, making production more sustainable.
Reduced Carbon Emissions
With optimized drying line, the machine emits significantly less carbon dioxide during the production process. This contributes to cleaner air and supports global efforts to fight climate change. Lower emissions also help businesses comply with environmental standards and reduce regulatory pressure.

FAQs of Egg Tray Manufacturing Machine
01Can sugarcane bagasse, straw, and other plant fibers be used to make egg trays?
No. The primary raw materials for egg tray production must be waste paper (such as kraft paper, old newspapers, and corrugated boxes). Other plant fibers or alternative raw materials should not exceed 5% of the total mix.
02What is the precise ratio of waste paper to water in production?
In the initial mixing stage, the paper-to-water ratio is typically 1:3 to 1:4.
03How do you make egg trays waterproof and moisture-resistant? What additives are needed?
You can simply add waterproofing agents into the pulp during the mixing process to make the trays moisture-resistant. If you need colored egg trays or cartons, you can also add color pigments/dyes as required.
04Do you provide on-site installation and staff training?
Yes, we provide comprehensive technical support, including on-site installation, equipment tuning, and operational training for your staff. Note: We only provide these installation services for equipment purchased directly from our company.
