Following the success of its 1st event on June 25 to 26, 2025, Beston Group, in collaboration with Elite International, successfully hosted the 2nd Oil Sludge Harmless Treatment Exchange Conference on February 11-12, 2026. This two-day exchange conference brought together local environmental authorities and experts, oil and gas industry leaders, and technical pioneers to explore sustainable solutions for hazardous waste management in the Middle East.

Day 2: Live TDU Site Demonstration
The second day focused on the practical application of technology at the Elite International project site, showcasing the Beston thermal desorption unit in full operation. Participants had access to observe the entire oil sludge treatment process, from feeding to the production of high-quality fuel oil. This demonstration not only proved the technical feasibility of converting oil sludge into valuable resources but also set a new industry standard for resource recovery, supporting Omani Green Initiatives by converting hazardous oil sludge into a sustainable economic solution.
