How to Use Small Charcoal Making Machine to Make Charcoal?

Raw Material Treatment

The raw material like wood or coconut shell are fed into dryer by belt conveyor. This step ensures that the moisture content is reduced to below 15%. The ideal particle size of the raw material should range between 5-20 mm.

Pyrolysis Process

After drying, the raw material are transferred to the furnace of small charcoal machine. Here, they are subjected to high temperatures ranging from 380℃ to 450℃. The pyrolysis process typically takes 15-20 minutes. The specific time depends on the type of raw material used.

Charcoal Collection

After pyrolysis, the high-temperature charcoal is discharged through a water-cooled screw auto-discharger. This step lowers the charcoal’s temperature to a safe range of 30℃ to 50℃, ensuring safety during handling and storage.

Combustible Gas Recycling

During pyrolysis, biomass releases a significant amount of combustible gas, including hydrogen, methane, ethane, and carbon monoxide. This gas is first sent to a cyclone de-dusting system to remove heavy particles. It is then decompress pressure using a water seal and recycled as fuel to heat the main furnace of small charcoal making machine, which effectively reduces energy consumption.

Gas Emission Treatment
