Between 2024 and 2025, Beston Group’s technical team conducted a series of tests on pyrolysis products from various plastic materials. This aims to provide reference data for investors. All plastic samples were sent to Beston quality testing department for testing. Professional engineers with over 10 years of experience follow standardized methodology to ensure data accuracy and reliability.
Methodology during Tests
- Subject each plastic sample to controlled plastic pyrolysis conditions.
- Record the time, flue gas temperature and oil production changes for each sample.
- Measure the weight and yield of the pyrolysis products to assess product efficiency.
Conclusion from Tests
- HDPE plastics have the highest oil yield, exceeding 85%.
- LDPE plastics have an oil yield of approximately 80%.
- PP plastics have a medium-to-high oil yield, around 70%.
- Mixed plastic waste from bottle caps shows a relatively high oil yield of 80%; however, due to the diverse composition of mixed plastics, this value is for reference only.
