In the increasingly stringent environmental regulatory landscape of Southeast Asia, how to strike a balance between complying with hazardous waste management regulations and achieving economic benefits? In October 2025, Beston Group and our client in Southeast Asia achieved this. After a 730-day journey, 3 sets of BLJ-16 pyrolysis plants were successfully commissioned, providing a perfect answer to the regional environmental challenge.
The client is a long-time practitioner in the local waste management industry. However, with the increasing demand for chemical oil sludge and medical plastic waste treatment, traditional incineration or landfill solutions are facing unprecedented pressure:
Local environmental protection departments have implemented extremely strict exhaust emission standards. They also monitor corporate emissions in real time, 24 hours a day, and transmit the data directly to the government’s backend system. This means that any emission fluctuation exceeding the limits could result in hefty compliance penalties. The client understood they need more than just a machine; they need a closed-loop compliance solution that could withstand continuous environmental scrutiny.
To address the client’s specific needs for treating chemical sludge and medical plastic waste, the Beston Group engineering team custom-designed the BLJ-16 pyrolysis system.
From the order placement to the receipt of the acceptance report, the delivery cycle of this project lasted two years (October 20, 2023 to October 19, 2025). During this period, our engineers flew to Southeast Asia twice. They were not only providing technical guidance but also acting as a source of reassurance for the client on-site.
The engineers actively collected feedback from the client under different operating conditions and provided on-site solutions. They provided support until the client’s technical team could independently operate the pyrolysis plant. Finally, the client formally signed the acceptance form and provided positive feedback.
Through the application of chemical oil sludge and medical plastic pyrolysis machines, the previously problematic hazardous waste underwent a complete transformation:
The successful delivery of the 3 BLJ-16 pyrolysis plant is not only a technological triumph, but also a reflection of our “customer-first” service philosophy. In Southeast Asia, a land full of opportunities and challenges, our 730 days of persistent effort have proven that sustainable recycling is not only a lucrative business, but also a responsibility to contribute to a greener future. Take action! Beston Group invites environmental pioneers worldwide to join the pyrolysis recycling industry.
