Welcome Earth Day 2024 with Beston Group

Earth Day, established in 1970, is an annual event observed on April 22nd. Each year, it highlights a specific theme to draw global attention to pressing environmental issues. In 2024, Earth Day starts its 54th anniversary with the theme “Planet vs. Plastics”. Beston Group, an active participant in the environmental sector and plastic recycling field, eagerly anticipates contributing to this cause through “Pyrolysis plastics to build a plastic-free planet!”.

Earth Day 2024.4.22 – Planet vs. Plastics Global Theme

Event Goals
  • Initial target: demanding a 60% reduction in the production of all plastics by 2040.
  • Ultimate goal: building a plastic-free future for generations to come.
Specific Goals

To achieve a 60% reduction by 2040, Earthday.org’s goals are:

  • (1) promoting widespread public awareness of the damage done by plastic to human, animal, and all biodiversity’s health and demanding more research be conducted on its health implications, including the release of any and all information regarding its effects to the public;
  • (2) rapidly phasing out all single use plastics by 2030 and achieving this phase out commitment in the United Nations Treaty on Plastic Pollution in 2024;
  • (3) demanding policies ending the scourge of fast fashion and the vast amount of plastic it produces and uses;
  • (4) investing in innovative technologies and materials to build a plastic-free world.

How Can Beson Group Contribute to The Above Goal with You?

Developing Technology Innovation

  • Pyrolysis Technology: Beston Group specializes in plastic pyrolysis plant, which can be utilized to convert plastic waste into valuable pyrolysis fuel oil (e.g., HDPE/LDPE – 95% oil yield; PP/PS – 90% oil yield). By investing in research and development, we have developed innovative and eco-friendly plastic catalytic pyrolysis patented technology for recycling. This technology addresses previous issues of wax oil blockage in conventional plastic pyrolysis, effectively improving the efficiency of plastic recycling and the quality of the final product, pyrolysis oil.
  • Distillation Technology: Our auxiliary distillation technology allows for the refinement and separation of pyrolysis oil, yielding single chemicals with higher purity. Plastic monomers can be obtained through subsequent polymerization reactions to prepare new plastic products. Through this process, we contribute to a circular economy by repurposing plastic waste into valuable resources, reducing the need for new plastic production and easing environmental strain.

Collaborating with Industry Partners

Beston Group has been actively seeking out collaboration opportunities with like-minded enterprises, government agencies, and NGOs working towards the goal of reducing plastic pollution. By pooling together expertise, resources, and best practices, we can amplify the impact of our plastic pyrolysis plant project and accelerate progress towards a plastic-free planet.
